Helping Families Pursue Financial Freedom

FAQs | Overview

How long have you been in business?
We have been in business since 1987.

Do you have a minimum investment amount?
Typically, our minimum investment amount is $250,000, but we are more focused on the prospects for a mutually beneficial long-term relationship rather than set minimums.

What do you charge for a financial plan?
Typically, we charge $1,000 for a comprehensive plan, but this amount does vary depending on exactly what you need done.

How do you get paid?
For investments, we charge a fee on assets and avoid upfront charges and/or surrender charges wherever possible. When you do well, we do well. We also know that we need to continue to earn your trust each and every day.

Since we do comprehensive planning, we sell insurance, as well as manage investments. We earn commissions on the sale of insurance products that you decide are the most appropriate for you.

Who do you work for?
I work for you. Commonwealth Financial Network is an independent broker/dealer without the pressure of a proprietary product line. Every recommendation we make is focused on what is best for you and your situation.

I'm interested. How can I find out more?
I understand how important it is for you to find the right advisor. The best way to know if we can help is to schedule a time to come into the office. Our first meeting is always free of charge. I am also happy to answer your questions via e-mail. You can reach me at carl@hefflefinger.com.
